The problem

It's so painful when relationships start to unravel. You may feel alone and defeated. You've tried to talk things out, give in or wait for the something to change. But nothing does.

You can't get what you want in relationships and it's getting old.  It's hard enough trying to please everyone while taking care of yourself takes a back seat. You find yourself choosing their needs over yours. That's a hard way to live.

But it doesn't have to stay that way. You can learn from those painful experiences and make the next relationship better - or improve the one you're still in. When you see what didn't work you can learn what does.

Relationships fail because people aren't shown the tools. We don't get taught how to talk things out and handle our hurt.

You need to know that you're not alone. The end result isn't your fault but you can be responsible for your part. You're looking for a solution. You just need the right kind of help.

Finding the solution

There is a way to create healthier relationships and feel better about yourself. You just need a little help.

Whether you're looking for relationship help or couples therapy, you'll learn how to make your relationships work by knowing how to say what you mean without saying it mean!

That requires being able to manage stress and anger. This takes some specific skills that are easy to learn.

I offer a workshop called Taming Your Anger for women that teaches how to control your reactions in a way that makes you feel proud.

You'll find the support of other women who share your overwhelm. You aren't bad or wrong. You just need tools to stop hurting the ones you love and start taking better care of yourself. Click the image to learn more...

I teach how to gain control of your reactions.  Learning the importance of accountability feels empowering. You start to like yourself again.

In couples therapy, you'll learn practical tools to decrease fighting and rebuild trust. Once you handle old hurts and resentments there is space for healing. Open, direct communication without blame builds the friendship back. You'll learn how to recognize a healthy relationship and start creating one. Click here to read more about how I work with couples.
